The General Arts programme gives students broad knowledge of society, culture, language, leadership, and human behaviour. It may include subjects such as Government, History, Geography, Economics, Literature, Religious Studies, French, Ghanaian Language, and other related electives. The programme develops critical thinking, communication, writing, leadership, and analytical skills. It prepares students for future careers in law, journalism, teaching, administration, diplomacy, politics, social work, public relations, and development studies.
Entry requirements
Students should have a good general BECE performance, particularly in English Language, Social Studies, and other relevant subjects. Good reading, writing, communication, and reasoning skills are helpful. Specific entry requirements may depend on the subject combination selected.
