The Home Economics programme prepares students for both further education and practical career pathways. It may include subjects such as Food and Nutrition, Management in Living, Clothing and Textiles, General Knowledge in Art, and other related electives. The programme helps students develop creativity, organisation, healthy living practices, practical problem-solving, and entrepreneurial skills. Graduates may pursue further studies or careers in hospitality management, catering, nutrition and dietetics, fashion design, food science, education, and family and consumer sciences.

Entry requirements

Students should have satisfactory BECE performance in English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science, and relevant practical or creative subjects. Interest in food, health, design, family life, hospitality, or practical skills is an advantage.
