Enquire about this programme

The Agriculture programme equips students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to participate productively in the agricultural sector. Training may cover soil preparation, crop cultivation, animal husbandry, farm tools and machinery, irrigation, pest and disease control, farm management, environmental conservation, post-harvest handling, and agribusiness.

Students learn through classroom teaching, demonstrations, field work, practical projects, and supervised farm activities. The programme helps learners understand agriculture as both a science and a business, with strong links to food security, employment, and national development.

The training encourages hard work, responsibility, observation, problem-solving, patience, and entrepreneurship. It is ideal for students who want to build practical skills for employment, self-employment, or further technical and academic progression.

Ghana’s TVET framework is designed to provide clear pathways for learners and graduates, including progression into further education and lifelong learning
