Learners are trained to understand construction materials, site preparation, basic building drawings, measurement, masonry work, concrete works, finishes, safety procedures, and maintenance practices.
The training combines theory with practical activities to help students build confidence in real construction tasks. Students learn how to interpret simple drawings, use tools safely, work with cement, blocks, sand, aggregates, and other building materials, and understand the stages involved in putting up a building.

Entry requirements
Applicants should have completed Junior High School or its equivalent. Interest in practical work, drawing, measurement, construction, tools, and site activities is important. Basic ability in Mathematics, English Language, and Integrated Science will help students perform well. Students should also be physically fit and willing to participate in practical training.
